The Origin Story
Ad-Apt started long before the name existed. In 2011, I started Socialated in a spare bedroom with $1,000. It grew into a 13-person full-service marketing agency servicing clients worldwide. In 2014, Socialated was acquired by Virsocom Ventures.
After the acquisition, I formed Lucas Sommer Inc. in 2014 and have held it ever since. My colleague Bryan Lozano — who had been a partner at Socialated — formed Bryan Lozano Inc. We both continued doing marketing work independently, building our own client bases and expertise. Eventually, we merged the two companies to create Ad-Apt — two proven operators combining forces under one roof.
Today Ad-Apt is a full-service digital marketing agency working with businesses, brands, and entrepreneurs across web development, SEO, paid media, social media, email marketing, mobile apps, API development, and hosting.
